"Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. Monk & Smuggler is the heart of Stafford. I’ve been going in ever day since they opened (sometimes twice), and I still look forward to it like it’s my first visit. The coffee is unbeatable. Once you’ve had theirs, every other coffee just tastes like a hot cup of nothing . You can tell every drink is made with love. It’s not just coffee, it’s a little moment of joy in the day. Tasha has completely transformed the coffee scene in Stafford. The place has such a warm, welcoming vibe, and the whole team make you feel like part of the family the moment you walk in. The cakes are dangerously good too, so consider yourself warned. As a small business owner myself, I know how much heart it takes to build something this special and Monk & Smuggler has it in abundance. Plus, it’s right below my studio… so that’s a win-win for me. If you haven’t been yet, go. You’ll never want to drink chain coffee again."

"The best coffee in the area. So glad I found this beautiful spot whilst visiting family, a peaceful setting in a quiet courtyard overlooking the church. Friendly staff, and by far the best barista coffee I’ve had in Staffordshire. Will definitely return."

"Lovely location, with a well thought out interior. I had an oat milk chai latte and vegan carrot cake. The cake was delicious. Definitely work it, after a nice walk. I had to get used to the chai as it was not as milky as chais usually are. I would say that it was made with the amount of milk that is a normal black tea has. So be prepared for this. We were so happy at this cafe, we stayed their a while. I have already started recommending it to others."
